About The Position

Ericsson's 5G Smart Factory seeks a SMA Production Quality Engineer (PQE) to oversee full product and process quality, maintain quality assurance systems, address quality issues, enhance performance, manage risks, and ensure output meets Ericsson and customer standards.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or above required.
  • 3+ year's expertise in manufacturing quality verification.
  • Active role in FRAG team to improve yield.
  • Ability to apply SPC, Gage R&R, Poka-Yoke, Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Whys).
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of quality tools/methods: Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, FMEA.
  • Data analysis using SQL databases preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, results-driven, strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly process assessments, enforce controls, and escalate nonconformance promptly.
  • Guide Quality Inspection teams on process and workmanship to ensure high standards.
  • Coordinate with Engineering on new product releases to meet Yield KPIs.
  • Drive and monitor corrective actions and improvements.
  • Review process flow, develop and maintain DFMEA/PFMEA and Control Plans for quality verification.
  • Report quality results to leadership and provide corrective action plans.
  • Set quality acceptance criteria for new production equipment.
  • Support Quality Management Systems.
