About The Position

Responsible for performing quality control inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards and customer expectations. This role supports efficient manufacturing operations by focusing on producing high-quality products correctly the first time while maintaining productivity. The position also serves as a role model for following and promoting company and site quality policies, procedures, and best practices. This is a C shift position from 11 PM to 7 AM.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a GMP Manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Read, follow and understand quality related and operating procedures and documentation.
  • Solid understanding and application of intermediate math skills.
  • Willingness to learn multiple production operations and adjust quickly to new tasks.
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to report production information.
  • Intermediate computer related skills to perform data entry and print reports.
  • Certified trainer or equivalent training experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the manufacture of quality product in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and Safety Specifications and GMP standards.
  • Safely operates in a production environment.
  • Support proper line opening and line closing through material control and proper machine set up.
  • Accurately completing documentation per GMP standards while ensuring a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Proactive identification of safety, quality, and productivity concerns. Actively report hazardous conditions or hazardous behaviors observed in the work center and the site and participates in sustainability efforts.
  • Escalate issues to next level (technician, lead, supervisor, etc.) to prevent excessive downtime/scrap material.
  • Communicate and participate shift changeover with colleagues and leads.
  • Training of operators on manufacturing process and product quality.
  • Coaches team members on quality best practices, reviews production records and ERP transactions for accuracy, and supports R&D, testing, and continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
