About The Position
Sonoma Tilemakers is currently seeking full-time Production Quality Control Associates for the Graveyard shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am). Sonoma Tilemakers is a leading wholesale manufacturer and distributor of high-end residential and commercial ceramic tile, stone and glass. This is a great opportunity to learn and discover about manufacturing wonderfully beautiful artisan tile!
Requirements
- Consistent and dependable in attendance and work practices
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Commitment to working safely
- Ability to maintain required productivity and work within quality standards
- Production experience helpful, but not required
- Basic English literacy
- Basic math skills required
- Basic computer competency
- Ability to read and follow procedures
Responsibilities
- Manually placing individual tiles on setters
- Loading tile to and from the kiln while inspecting the quality of the product by following production and safety procedures
- Meeting the quality and quantity production standards
- Packaging tile
- Boxing tile
- Palletizing tile
- Moving product for transfer to be shipped
- Completing required documentation
- Entering information into the computer system
- Regular and consistent attendance
