About The Position

The Production Programmer is responsible for creating nesting programs for hardware, shells, etc. in plate and coil for production needs. This role involves entering those programs into the ERP software for consumption, working with the production control team to manage the schedule of production through the show, and verifying and staging of raw materials and consumables used for job-specific production processes. Safety is paramount in this role, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Proficient in ProNest, Alma Cam, or similar CNC part nesting software.
• Proficience in AutoCAD
• Profiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Safety - the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and procedures.
• Steel burn/laser table experience.
• Production tracking and production planning experience.
• D-365 experience.
