About The Position

Our client, a leading advanced manufacturing company specializing in innovative materials and production technologies, is seeking an experienced Production Process Operator to join their Rock Hill, SC facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
Ability to work second shift and/or split-shift hours as required.
Working knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures related to batch processing operations.
Ability to safely handle heavy equipment and containers and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures, batch sheets, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, mixing systems, and production machinery.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with established safety procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in batch processing, manufacturing, production, or a related environment preferred.
Forklift operation experience and/or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and process production batches in accordance with established procedures, batch sheets, and process guidelines.
Read and interpret batch sheets, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines when performing job functions.
Fill, package, and repackage products according to established specifications.
Clean, inspect, and maintain production equipment in accordance with applicable procedures.
Verify that equipment, tools, and instruments are properly calibrated and ready for use before beginning production.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify potential faults, and escalate problems as needed.
Ensure materials and supplies are prepared and available in a timely manner to prevent production delays or shortages.
Regularly communicate with the supervisor regarding production activities, progress, issues, and operational needs.
Proactively report potential shortages of raw materials, packaging materials, or other production supplies to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
