About The Position

Our client, a leading advanced manufacturing company specializing in innovative materials and production technologies, is seeking an experienced Production Process Operator to join their Rock Hill, SC facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to work second shift and/or split-shift hours as required.
  • Working knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures related to batch processing operations.
  • Ability to safely handle heavy equipment and containers and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures, batch sheets, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, mixing systems, and production machinery.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with established safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in batch processing, manufacturing, production, or a related environment preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience and/or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and process production batches in accordance with established procedures, batch sheets, and process guidelines.
  • Read and interpret batch sheets, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines when performing job functions.
  • Fill, package, and repackage products according to established specifications.
  • Clean, inspect, and maintain production equipment in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Verify that equipment, tools, and instruments are properly calibrated and ready for use before beginning production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify potential faults, and escalate problems as needed.
  • Ensure materials and supplies are prepared and available in a timely manner to prevent production delays or shortages.
  • Regularly communicate with the supervisor regarding production activities, progress, issues, and operational needs.
  • Proactively report potential shortages of raw materials, packaging materials, or other production supplies to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
