About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Production Planning Specialist. This is a full-time contract position with a possible contract-to-hire duration of 12 months. The role is located in Alpharetta, GA 30004 and is onsite, first shift, with working hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. As a Production Planning Specialist, you will plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. You will work from build plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Your responsibilities will include advising management of the status of work in progress, coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, and interfacing with engineering, program management, and external customers. You will also ensure the availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments, and work to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements.
Works from build plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
