Whether you’re in oil & gas, power generation, or industrial operations, we provide fuel-flexible, overbuilt systems that perform when it matters most. ‍ Position Overview: The Production Planning Manager will oversee and optimize production scheduling, forecasting, and manufacturing coordination. This role will be responsible for ensuring customer commitments are met by effectively managing the planning and execution of production activities across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and project management. This position serves as the central conduit between supply chain, operations, and manufacturing, aligning demand, materials, and production capacity to meet build schedules.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing planning, production control, or supply chain planning
Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments; industrial equipment, power generation, or similar industry
Proven ability to manage production planning processes and coordinate across cross-functional teams
Strong experience working with ERP/MRP systems; Oracle ERP preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Oversee production planning, workflow, and scheduling to ensure alignment between demand, materials, and manufacturing capacity
Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on plant capacity, project requirements, and incoming demand
Coordinate with supply chain, project managers, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure materials and components are available to meet production timelines
Monitor production status and progress, identifying delays, shortages, and bottlenecks and making adjustments as needed
Ensure materials are flowing properly through the warehouse and into production, including oversight of pick ticket requirements feeding the production floor
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, resolve production issues, and adjust schedules when material availability or capacity constraints arise
Maintain ERP/MRP system accuracy to support effective demand planning and material availability
Align production schedules with manufacturing capabilities and capacity planning, ensuring the organization can meet build requirements
Communicate potential schedule changes or constraints to project management and leadership teams
Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve production efficiency and reduce delays
Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity
