About The Position

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Production Planner who will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production schedules and requirements. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgement. Works under limited supervision; fully proficient to perform production planning.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Demonstrate Microsoft and computer knowledge/skills
Familiar with ERP and preferably Costpoint
Computer skills, ERP and Microsoft Suite

Proven track record of reliability, responsibility, safety, and solid organization skills
Strong communication and teaming skills
Excellent attention to detail
Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite, and ERP database

Responsibilities

Work from drawings bills of materials to estimate materials and labor pricing.
Advise management of the status of work in progress by coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain as well as interfacing with engineering.
Work to resolve material shortages for backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
