Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a supply chain function or related field
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office Applications

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in Business or Related Field
  • CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification

Responsibilities

  • Define the prioritized production schedule.
  • Communicate the production schedule to all operations via visual boards.
  • Coordinate production material activities.
  • Open and support on-time closing of manufacturing work orders.
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain an overall production plan in alignment with the SIOPP tool.
  • Generate work orders and communicate any changes with the production plan to various production employees.
  • Create functional reports indicating the performance of the production plan and regularly update other Production Planners for various product lines.
  • Coordinate with Buyers and Inventory Controller to ensure inventory needed to execute the production plan is available.
