About The Position

The Production Planner role is within the Logistics-Planing Department and is responsible for managing, revising, and forecasting EDI data, formulating shipping plans, handling abnormal shipments, and maintaining good customer relationships. This position requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with manufacturing software, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership, and customers.
  • Work experience in a planning department is preferred.
  • Junior College degree and above.
  • Employee must be in good health, available to work long hours with a computer, and bear high stress.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
  • Familiar with company's production process and Plex operation.
  • Familiar with EXCEL and other office software, with strong data analysis ability.
  • Good logic ability, strong data analysis ability.
  • Familiar with supply chain management.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and/or Mandarin.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for EDI monitoring, adjustment, and maintenance to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of EDI data.
  • Responsible for formulating and importing the correct delivery plan, communicating, feeding back, and handling abnormal delivery situations.
  • Responsible for good communication with customers, maintaining good relations, and obtaining information such as order changes in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of order forecasting as data input for company operations.
  • Responsible for monitoring the on-time delivery of orders.
  • Implement FCA production suspension management regulations, ECR change management, logistics performance scoring, and other important matters as required.
  • Ensure the achievement of the department's KPI.
  • Timely completion and reporting of matters assigned by superiors.
  • Understand environmental factors, dangerous sources, and their control methods.
  • Execute and implement integrated management system regulations and documentation.
  • Classification of scrap and waste from this job.
  • Other duties as assigned.
