About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, optimizing and executing production schedules for Davlyn Group’s Industrial business segment. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, raw material availability and plant capacity for Norfab and Spring City, while driving efficiency, minimizing downtime and maintaining on-time delivery performance. This position serves as a key liaison between sales, purchasing, manufacturing and logistics. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operation Management, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing (textiles, preferred).
Deep understanding of textile manufacturing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for Davlyn Group Industrial (Norfab & Spring City).
Balance demand forecasts with plant capacity, labor and machine constraints.
Optimize sequencing to reduce changeovers, waste and downtime.
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely availability of yarns, chemicals and other raw materials.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules in real time to address disruptions (machine downtime, labor shortages, material delays).
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Lead Sales & Inventory Operations Planning (“SIOP”) and production planning meetings.
Maintain ERP systems accuracy for orders, inventory and work-in-progress (“WIP”).
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for planned downtime and equipment constraints.
Ensure alignment with customer priorities and service level agreements.
Collaborate with the Juarez, Mexico location on supply and demand concerns for both finished goods and yarns produced in Juarez
