About The Position
The Production Planner ensures manufacturing processes run efficiently and on schedule by creating production plans, managing inventory, and coordinating material flow. The Production Planner will optimize resources to meet customer demand, reduce downtime, and maintain cost-effective operations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuites) and MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)Technology and supply chain logistics
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities to handle production disruptions
- High-level data analysis for forecasting and inventory management
- Strong experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
- Ability to resolve production bottlenecks, shortages, or equipment failures proactively
- Effective coordination with internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Ensuring accuracy in schedules, inventory records, and production reporting
- Ability to adjust to changing schedules, unexpected delays, and changing customer orders

- A Bachelor's degree, in business or supply chain preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and adjust rolling production plan in line with the master production schedule and customer orders
- Execute clear to build process in collaboration with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and warehouse operations
- Create work order priorities and sequencing to maximize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements
- Monitor production progress and address delays or disruptions
- Optimize production capacity, labor, and equipment utilization
- Maintain accurate production planning data in MRP as needed
- Collaborating with commercial team for expedite requests
- Collaborating on NPI projects as needed
- Measure and action KPI performance
- Identify and implement process improvements opportunities
