Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using forecasting data, production schedules, and inventory management processes
Nice To Haves
- Additional education in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and long-range production schedules
- Analyze sales forecasts and customer demand to ensure production plans align with business needs
- Monitor inventory levels and manage materials to support Just-in-Time manufacturing operations
- Coordinate with corporate planning, customer service, shipping, and plant leadership to meet customer requirements
- Order and track raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production
- Monitor production capacity and adjust schedules based on operational requirements
- Prepare reports related to forecasts, production volumes, inventory, line loading, and customer demand
- Support budgeting, forecasting, inventory analysis, and monthly reporting activities
- Help drive inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and inventory control initiatives
- Serve as a key link between production, supply chain, and customer fulfillment activities
