About The Position
The Supply Chain Associate provides support in the Supply Chain Division by coordinating purchasing and planning activities. Manages manufacturing demands for make-to-stock or make-to-order items and finalizes work orders. Serves the business by delivering product and service information, assisting with complaints, handling orders, addressing account inquiries, invoicing, and other related tasks.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Production and/or 2+ years relevant work experience
- SAP PL/MF Required
- Moderate to Advanced MS Excel and Word Skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct local purchasing and processes orders for set reorder points
- Enter sales/work orders in SAP PL/MF (Planning/Manufacturing)
- Ensure order accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with Sales Administration / customer services regarding schedules and deliveries. Prioritize shipments and match purchase orders with open balances
- Close work orders ensuring accurate documentation
- Maintain communication with supply chain team. Update division-specific spreadsheets
- Create and monitor production plans. Coordinate material management and utilize SAP PL/MF
- Collaborate with production managers, purchasing, and warehouse management. Analyze and im- prove production processes
- Troubleshoot production delays
- Adheres to all safety, quality and environmental standards
