About The Position

The Production Planner - Export is responsible for generating and maintaining a feasible Detailed Production Schedule (DPS). This role requires understanding the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) and managing the completion of production orders in line with the plan and daily priorities. The planner will release production schedules to the shop floor and manage/facilitate daily and/or weekly planning handshake meetings with Production/Operations Management. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting production order and materials issues.

Requirements

Associate's Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1+ year of practical experience with planning in a manufacturing environment
Advanced computer skills with experience in ERP and Reporting systems (SAP is preferable)
Practical working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and deployment of LEAN tools a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this SHIPPING WAREHOUSING PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE and ENVIRONMENTAL (PCE) JOB REQUIREMENTS position.
