About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting Defense Production Planning. The role involves collaborating with engineering functions for project/product transitions, ensuring production schedules are met, and verifying the accuracy of final products and required records. The Production Planner will also maintain serial number lists, work with the Materials department to ensure timely part arrival, close final lots, and ensure accurate final packing and shipping reports. Additionally, the role supports the management of programs from conception to completion, adhering to all internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Fully fluent in the English language in both oral and written form.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• High energy and self-driven individual.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Temporary Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

• Ability to communicate in Spanish language.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment that is certified to ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
• Capability to generate, read and understand complex reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other engineering functions within TPG to aid and assist in project/product transitions.
• Ensure production schedule is met.
• Ensure final products for each lot are accurate and required records are complete.
• Maintain final serial number lists as required.
• Work with Materials department to ensure arrival of correct parts.
• Close final lots.
• Ensure Final Packing is done correctly and ensure accuracy of Final Shipping Reports.
• Support the management of Programs from conception through completion while meeting all internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
