About The Position

The Production Planner interfaces with multiple departments and organizations, and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule. This is a highly skilled and experienced senior support individual contributor role. The planner works autonomously, acts as a mentor to lower level peers, provides guidance on tasks, and makes recommendations for process improvements. They work on assignments requiring the development of concepts and techniques.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a highly schedule-based manufacturing environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems

Responsibilities

• Perform critical path analysis to identify and mitigate delays that could impact production schedules
• Analyze material configuration and job order status using Windows-based computer systems and software
• Coordinate and negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.
• Identify and create goals that lead to the successful completion of project deliverables within the allotted time
• Effectively communicate detailed schedule development to stakeholders, department leads, production management, and executive management
• Perform detailed schedule, risk, and continuous improvement-based analysis to identify, develop, and drive solutions
