About The Position

All America Threaded Products has an opportunity available for a Production Planning Analyst! The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually and is eligible for our full Benefits Package, including health, dental, life, and 401k. The Workweek for this position Full-Time, (40 hours per week) 7:00AM – 3:30PM. This position will work on-site at our facility in Lancaster, PA. All America Threaded Products is a leading manufacturer of threaded products including threaded rod and U-Bolts. Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, this position will be responsible for creating and overseeing production schedules and providing data analytics to support process improvement. Primary duties include: In June of 2010, Acme formed All America Threaded Products (AATP) by combining the operations of five acquisitions made in the threaded products industry. AATP manufactures and distributes a wide variety of threaded products including threaded rod, studs, anchor bolts, U-bolts and specials. AATP has custom product manufacturing capabilities to meet specific needs for various applications in numerous industries. With a large in-stock inventory of a variety of materials and finishes, AATP has the ability to deliver the necessary threaded products for any application. AATP offers flexible business solutions providing value for our customers. In-house capabilities, such as cutting, finishing, plating, drawing, bending, welding and packaging, have been developed to support our customers’ needs. Services such as custom packaging, flexible stocking options, in-stock inventory and fast and convenient shipping make working with AATP a great experience.

Requirements

  • We a seeking a person with at least 7 years of analytical/production planning experience (any combination of education and experience), preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles of manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
  • Experience with production forecasting, supply chain management, price negotiation, and anticipating production needs.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS/ASCM certification is preferred.
  • Experience with pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, charts, and data Connections.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating workflow on the shop floor for multiple products.
  • Assessing overall needs for equipment and raw material, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring sufficient stock of raw materials to meet production demands.
  • Working with the sales team to determine reasonable lead times for our customers.
  • Monitor capacity planning tools to ensure the optimal level of production capability is available to meet the forecast demand.
  • Coordinate quarterly A, B, C, Classification and Minimum, Trigger, Maximum updates.
  • Analyze Net Inventory Targets by raw material, finished goods, and product family categories.
  • Coordinating the production of one or more products and ensuring promptness and accuracy.
  • Reporting on the production status and other metrics to upper management.
  • Ensuring a smooth material flow in the production facility.
  • Maintain the schedule for production and outside services.
