Experienced Production Pilot (Production Transport)
About The Position
The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking an Experienced Production Pilot to join our Production Flight Test organization. This position involves an initial training period in Seattle, WA, followed by a long-term assignment of 2-3 years in Zhoushan, China, with relocation and assignment benefits provided. Upon completion of the assignment, the pilot will return to Seattle to continue supporting Boeing's delivery flight operations. This role is crucial for supporting Boeing's delivery flight operations in China and will involve conducting initial and follow-on production flights, as well as customer demonstration flights on newly manufactured or completed 737 airplanes in both Seattle and Zhoushan.
Requirements
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Experience piloting turbine powered aircraft
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and travel internationally without restriction
- FAA first class medical certificate
- 1500 flight hours

Responsibilities
- Plans and conducts production and acceptance test flights
- Demonstrates or leads the production acceptance process
- Identifies and documents flight deficiencies and coordinates resolution
- Coordinates with multiple stakeholders internally and externally to Boeing
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts ferry, support, and functional test flights on production and non-production aircraft
- Serves as Pilot-In-Command
