About The Position

As a Production Painter at Sanford’s Boone Trail location, you will perform a variety of functions associated with the powder coating application and production process within an established cycle time. This may include loading and unloading materials, moving parts and equipment, painting and coating parts, cleaning and maintaining parts and equipment, and providing routine assistance and support.

Requirements

Previous experience and/or working knowledge of typical paint tech roles (masking, shot blast, pre-treatment, etc.).
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to perform repetitive operations.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings.
Excellent verbal communications skills.
Strong commitment to Safety and Teamwork.
Demonstrates decision-making ability.
Ability to read/understand MSDS sheets.

Nice To Haves

Paint certification or equivalent experience in equipment paint processing.
Experience in top coat, prime coat and electrostatic paint.
