Requirements

  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 12 hour days.
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
  • Manual dexterity required with the ability to use both hands for packing and be able to stand and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to relate well to others and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 1-2 years manufacturing experience but not required

Responsibilities

  • Make boxes with appropriate labels attached.
  • Utilize hands, packing forks, and/or other methods to transfer product to appropriate package
  • Inspect products for conformance to specifications.
  • Utilize gauges to check basic dimensions or other specifications.
  • Notify operator or supervisor when quality problems are detected.
  • Discard product not meeting specifications.
  • Seal containers and place on skid utilizing the box lifter.
  • Performs duties in accordance with all safety rules and use safe work methods.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously as needed.
  • Gain a working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements during your training period.
  • Communicate with supervisors and peers while establishing and maintaining a constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
