About The Position

This is an entry-level position responsible for the proper packaging of materials and finished products. The Production Packaging Associate will also load and move material and operate packaging equipment. The role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The shift for this position is the Night Shift, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Basic mathematical skills are required.
Basic computer experience.
Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Nice To Haves

Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing appropriate PPE, following Stop Think Act, and by immediately escalating abnormalities when found.
Demonstrates Operator Driven Quality by performing hourly inspections, by adhering to GMP policy, and by immediately escalating issues when any defect is found.
Can safely and efficiently operate on a designated line.
Can correctly run drop tests for bottles on designated line.
Monitor operation of conveyor systems and clear bottle jams from lines.
Discard defective bottles and report poor quality issues to management.
Ensure proper packing and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
