About The Position

Cheryl's Cookies, part of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. family of brands, is hiring Seasonal Food Production & Packaging Associates for 1st and 2nd shifts. This role involves creating, decorating, and packaging delicious cookies and baked goods. The position offers competitive pay, multiple shifts, and the chance to join a team during their busiest season. Experience in manufacturing, packaging, assembly, food production, or warehouse operations is beneficial. Qualified candidates may receive an on-the-spot job offer during the hiring event and can start working shortly thereafter.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or similar experience.
• Comfortable standing and working on their feet throughout their shift.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn different responsibilities and support multiple departments.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, dress code, and workplace safety requirements.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work their assigned schedule and additional hours as needed during peak season.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work assigned shift, including weekends and required overtime during peak seasons.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30–40 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to work in a food production environment and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Comfortable working in temperature-controlled production and warehouse areas.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Westerville facility.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and producing cookies and other baked goods.
• Operate or assist with production equipment.
• Support daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Frost, decorate, and finish cookies and baked goods.
• Assist with frosting machines and production lines.
• Help ensure products meet our quality and presentation standards.
• Package cookies and baked goods for shipment.
• Label, assemble, and prepare finished products.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
• Support packaging equipment and production lines.
• Follow food safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be flexible in supporting different production areas as business needs change.
