About The Position

This position is responsible for fulfilling orders from internal and external clients. Maintaining inventory levels and determining when these levels need to be replenished is also a major function of the position. This position is responsible for receiving and warehousing new inventory and returned material as it arrives, and keeping the warehouse organized and clean in general. The ideal candidate will have experience inputting data and will be detailed oriented.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Forklift Certification
• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience working in a shipping or receiving role in the chemical industry

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders for internal and external customers.
• Data entry
• Help to maintain inventory levels.
• Receive, count, and restock new inventory in proper location when received.
• Decide which the cheapest and/or most effective carrier to use is.
• Close orders in MAS/X3, mainly LTL orders.
• Create backorders for items that are not in stock.
• Contact the carriers for pick-up to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, both inside and outside of the building.
