Banbury Production Operator
About The Position
This position will work exclusively in our Banbury production area. Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods. Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Able to Lift 50 pounds frequently and at times lifting up to 80 pounds
- Able to pass pre-hire checks including a physical strength test prior to hire
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate awareness and concern for the safety of self and others thru adherence of safety policies and procedures and maintaining certifications for plant safety
- Work in highly physical, dusty, fast paced work environment, lifting 50 pounds frequently and at times lifting up to 80 pounds
- Maintain consistent and on time attendance
- Operate production equipment and adhere to quality procedures
- Use/read hose specification & measuring equipment as required (micrometers, calipers and testing equipment)
- Record and maintain production data in accordance with specifications and quality policies.
- Assist in maintenance of tooling and equipment
- Attention to detail, meeting and/or exceed quality standards in work
- Identify and solve production problems to improve process and product flow
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
- Actively participate in team meetings and activities
- Value teamwork and demonstrate skills necessary to be an effective team member, working effectively with others in a highly committed small work team environment
- Flexible and creative with enthusiasm for change and high commitment level
- Required to learn and maintain multiple job certifications and perform a variety of tasks
- Self-motivated/high energy with passion for quality workmanship
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as necessary
