About The Position

Idaho Forest Group is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented individual to join their high-quality lumber production facility. This dynamic and fast-paced role involves contributing to the team, championing safety, and serving as a relief operator for various functions and machinery. As an entry-level position, there is an established career ladder to support personal growth and advancement into more specialized roles. The work environment is industrial and includes exposure to loud conditions and airborne particles like sawdust.

Requirements

• Ability to work various shifts, days, and overtime
• Ability to use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose
• Ability to adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust)
• Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery, and workstations
• Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role
• Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned
• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSA’s (job safety analysis)
