About The Position

Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking Production Operators to support both Powder Coat and Machine Operation functions at our Fife, WA facility. These roles are responsible for operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operators play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while contributing to overall plant performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment (including heat, noise, and machinery)

Nice To Haves

• Powder coating experience is a plus for Powder Coat roles

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust powder coating equipment and spray systems
• Load, unload, and position parts onto racks or conveyor systems
• Apply coatings according to specifications to ensure proper finish and coverage
• Monitor curing ovens, temperatures, and line speeds
• Inspect coated products for defects, thickness, and consistency
• Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance
• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment used in window and door production
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
• Load materials and ensure proper alignment during production runs
• Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Maintain steady production flow while meeting quality standards
• Accurately document production and quality data
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals
