About The Position

Conagra Brands is looking for a Production Operator to join their growing team. The role involves operating and monitoring packaging machines on production lines, performing periodic checks to ensure quality standards, and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. This position is based at their plant in Rensselaer, Indiana, known as "The Popcorn Plant", which produces Orville Redenbacher Popcorn and Act II Popcorn. The operator will report to a Team Lead.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing facility
• Basic to moderate computer and iPad skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic mathematical skills such as measuring, averaging, and ranges.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Operate and stock packaging machines.
• Verify manufacturing process and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot packaging machine problems.
• Maintain required production and quality documentation.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Cooperate and assist co-workers as required.
