About The Position

The Production Operator I will work in producing and/or set-up high-end ice sculptures, ice molds and cocktail ice. This role involves the safe operation and sanitation of high-speed production equipment.

Requirements

High School education or GED
Will be required to obtain a Southern Nevada Health District Card (Food Handler Card)
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Ability to quickly store and recall instructions in one’s short term memory
Ability to concentrate and perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment
Ability to cope with sudden changes in surrounding and/or emergency situations and/or alarms
Demonstrate a caring, committed and concerned attitude about safety

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe operation and sanitation of high-speed production equipment such as meat saw, band saw, CNC machine and cocktail ice machines/molds
May assist in the production of large ice blocks use in the creation of sculptures and cocktail ice
May assist in the production of Ice molds for special orders or special events
May assist in the production of Cocktail ice with the aid of machine or manual presses/molds
Packaging of ice products for delivery
May be required to assist in setting up ice sculptures for events
Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity
Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees
Adhere to all rules and regulations, at all times
Meet or exceed company safety standards
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
