About The Position

Continental Winchester VA has night shift (7pm - 7am) openings for a Production Operator in the Surface Solutions business area. As a Production Operator, you will be an active team member within the production line, responsible for maintaining quality specifications, inputting manufacturing data, viewing work instructions, and operating various equipment and machinery according to job specifications. You will be required to meet production schedules accurately, verify materials as needed, and troubleshoot and report issues. Maintaining a clean and safe environment through good housekeeping practices and safety awareness is vital. You will also act as an effective team member, communicating daily tasks and instructions. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, push, pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be able to work proficiently in a manufacturing industrial environment
Ability to learn how to operate a forklift
Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
Must have and maintain a good attendance record
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
English reading, writing and comprehension skills are required
