About The Position
BAE Systems, a Fortune 500 Company, is hiring Explosive Plant Operators in the Castables area at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport, TN. This is a permanent position. We are seeking detail-oriented and highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Production Operator. The Holston Army Ammunition Plant is a Tobacco Free Facility. BAE Systems helps protect those who protect us. At our R&D and chemical manufacturing facility at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, we do this by developing safer energetic materials for our government and commercial customers. HAAP has provided high quality explosives for our soldiers since WWII and will continue to push the frontier of energetic material synthesis and manufacturing with your help.
Requirements
- High School/GED
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inventory movement
- Experience operating a PLC computer system
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Fork truck experience
