About The Position

Red Wing Shoe Company is hiring Production Operators for fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing work. The role involves operating safely and efficiently, maintaining attention to detail, and producing work that meets exceptional quality standards. Operators must keep pace with the production line to support efficient factory operations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Friday overtime if needed. Starting pay is $18.42 per hour, increasing to $19.42 per hour after a three-month probationary period. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory background-check and physical-exam results, including a drug screen.

Requirements

• At least one year of continuous experience in a factory production line, warehouse, or physically demanding job requiring similar physical capabilities.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to perform repetitive reaching, including forward and above-shoulder reaching, and repetitive twisting, bending, and hand and wrist motions for up to 12 hours. These motions include pinching, gripping, grasping, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and keep up with the production line.

Nice To Haves

• Background in woodworking, auto repair, industrial sewing, carpentry, or similar manufacturing work.
