About The Position
Fenner Dunlop is seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our Port Clinton, Ohio facility. This role involves operating as part of a belt making crew, performing machine adjustments, and coordinating with the crew for optimum production and quality, along with miscellaneous manual belt making operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accurate documentation.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong machine operation, decision making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with applicable computer programs.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of each position assigned; operate overhead cranes, hoists, lift truck vehicles and a variety of power and hand tools.
- Maintain clean and safe working area and equipment.
- Perform other departmental duties as assigned by supervision.
- Responsible for properly utilizing all equipment in the performance of each respective position they are working.
- Maintaining proper production records.
- Following established safety procedures and working in a safe manner to insure their own and others well-being.
- Reporting production problems to supervision.
- Become qualified in production classification and shall be assigned to a shift in accordance with the job bidding process.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to personal safety, machine safety, and safety rules.
- Attend all required safety trainings as directed by supervisor.
- Report all injuries and hazards to your supervisor immediately.

- New Hire pay rate of $26.86/hr. - $29.56/hr.
