About The Position

Convert coproduct material into value added products through evaporation and crystallization in order to produce Prosin and Zeta products. Work hours: 12 hour rotating shifts, however business needs may require additional hours worked.

Requirements

• Ability to participate in a high performance team-based environment that is fast-learning and adaptive;
• Communicate effectively and participate in a continuous improvement culture, including utilizing problem solving skills; be flexible to all shifts;
• Willing to cross-train into other areas; ensure conformance to standard operating procedures; communicate any issues to the appropriate resources in a timely manner;
• Computer skills, e.g. Excel;
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work rotating 12 hour shifts;
• Ability to remain in a stationary position up to 80% of shift;
• Continuously walk or stand;
• Frequently ascend/descend stairs and ladders;
• Must be able to wear full-face respirator and protective equipment as needed. This includes minimal facial hair in order to ensure proper fit of respirator in accordance with OSHA regulations. Must complete annual medical monitoring program, including pulmonary function testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tank levels, temperatures, pH, vacuum pressure, flow rates, density, currents, RPM;
• Collect samples and perform tests to determine pH, concentration and density;
• Troubleshoot issues with process and equipment;
• Monitor and operate the process using HMI software to maintain a safe and efficient process;
• Accurately and legibly record sample and process data;
• Perform other duties as necessary;
