About The Position

Our Norwich, NY location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition Division and one of our specialty sites that creates proteins, lactose, coatings, and flavors. The location lies within Chenango County and is advantageously located within a 50-mile radius of the major cities of Binghamton, Syracuse, Utica, Cooperstown and Oneonta. 158 State Hwy. 320, Norwich, NY 13815 Hourly Rate $21.00/hour + $2.50 Shift Dif Shift/Working Hours 715PM - 745AM - Working 3 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off - you would have every other weekend off. Compensation incentive for cross training!

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of multiple jobs preferred.
Demonstrated ability to multitask.
Leads by influence.

Responsibilities

Operating any piece of equipment in manufacturing according to approved procedures.
Learning all equipment in manufacturing.
Operating and helping with all blenders, packaging, batch setting, filtration devices, TRS, HTST’s, cooler, evaporators, dryer, and CIP systems.
Performing master sanitation in their area.
Performing in-process testing according to approved methods to ensure finished product meets targeted specifications.
Filling out master batch records on time and in a neat, orderly fashion according to GMP’s.
Operating forklift truck in a safe manner and using proper safety measures.
Lifting 55 lbs.
When operating packer, lifting 55# at an interval of 1 box every 2 minutes.
Demonstrating leadership in the area of safety.
Ensuring all transactions in SAP are accurate.
Demonstrating the ability to multitask and grow into a leader as opportunities are available.
