About The Position

The Production Operator I is responsible for producing high-quality Posiflush syringes while meeting established production goals and working collaboratively as part of a manufacturing team. This role requires performing routine quality checks, monitoring equipment performance, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring compliance with BD quality standards, policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Regular and dependable attendance is essential. Candidates must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and/or Spanish and demonstrate commitment to BD Values.

High School Diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of a High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience is required.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Work in designated manufacturing areas, including: ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers Multi Vac/Case Pak
Monitor product quality and equipment performance throughout the production process.
Make equipment adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity standards.
Perform or assist with product and equipment changeovers.
Support troubleshooting and repair activities with Line Technicians and Setter/Operators.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following GMP requirements.
Conduct quality inspections and process tests and accurately document results.
Coordinate with utilities and scheduling teams to maintain appropriate material inventory levels.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and optimize work methods.
Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.
