The Production Operator-Temporary Summer Help sets up ware on lehrs and conveyors, dislodges ware on straight line equipment, adjusts the flow of empty cartons on conveyors as required, and visually inspects ware and discards defective ware. The Production Operator-Temporary Summer Help should have mechanical aptitude, be highly safety conscious, and have a desire to learn and grow within our industry. The Production Operator-Temporary Summer Help will understand carton quality requirements and perform checks to ensure those requirements are met, attend palletizers, supplying pallets and tier sheets, operate controls and ensures that tiers are properly formed and transported, visually inspect ware and component parts and discards defective ware, and rotate/transfer among departments as directed. Positions will start as soon as May 4th and must be available to work through September 30th. No time off/vacation will be approved for summer help. These positions are filled in order to provide relief and staffing when full-time employees are taking vacation. If a summer help employee takes time off their assignment will be terminated and they will not be eligible to work as summer help in the future.
