Production Operator
About The Position
The Production Operator demonstrates the ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time. This role is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping and clean work areas, and performing all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements. The operator is responsible for safety and quality throughout production and must notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to ensure these standards are maintained. They are also responsible for reporting all production waste/issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor and performing other duties as required by their Supervisor or Manager, while following all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Troubleshoot problems and report issues
- Must work well in team environment
Responsibilities
