About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. The operator will work in a cleanroom environment, operating washing, packaging, vision inspection, and steam sterilizer machines, as well as other auxiliary equipment. This includes supporting washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes, and performing SAP interactions in accordance with SOPs and WI's to produce rubber stoppers according to productivity standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position related documentation.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
  • Performs basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, and steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment.
  • Supports washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes.
  • Performs SAP interactions in accordance with SOPs and WI's.
  • Ensures products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures.
  • Maintains high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Works under the guidance of a Supervisor or Crew Leader to perform and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition and the work area is clean, safe, and organized.
  • Monitors equipment performance and recommends improvements.
  • Follows organizational and work-specific instructions, and attends applicable trainings and meetings.
  • Fulfills tasks efficiently and in due course, meeting productivity standards.
  • Organizes and performs work effectively.
  • Abides by safety regulations at all times and promotes safety standards.
  • Identifies potential safety risks and reports them actively to the line manager.
  • Demonstrates initiative to exceed common performance.
  • Flexibly adopts changes in tasks, work place, or team.
