About The Position

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. In the cleanroom, the operator will operate washing, packaging, vision inspection, and steam sterilizer machines, along with other auxiliary equipment to support these processes. This includes SAP interactions in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers according to productivity standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position-related documentation.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
  • Performs basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, and steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment.
  • Supports washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes.
  • Performs SAP interactions in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s.
  • Produces rubber stoppers in accordance with productivity standards.
  • Works under the guidance of Supervisor or Crew Leader to perform assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Ensures equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Monitors equipment performance and recommends improvements.
  • Follows organizational and work-specific instructions.
  • Attends applicable trainings and meetings.
  • Fulfils tasks efficiently and in due course.
  • Meets productivity standards.
  • Organizes and performs work effectively.
  • Abides by safety regulations at all times.
  • Promotes safety standards at the workplace and in the team.
