Airgas is Hiring for a Production Operator 2nd Shift in Henderson, CO! We are looking for you! As a Production Operator, you will apply the compression temperature/pressure method to fill various high-pressure cylinders, including Industrial, Medical, and mixed gases. Ideally, you will help fill high pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical and Mixes) following compression temperature / pressure method. Collaboratively operate and care for equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders. Guide and support all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before cylinders are released. Help ensure cylinders are sustainably maintained – cylinders requiring maintenance or repair are removed from service until corrected. Regularly inspect and support the upkeep of pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices. Fill cylinders or containers to proper pressure or weight, whichever is appropriate. Partner with the team to ensure filling records are accurately maintained and that all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state and federal regulations. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers when required. Team up to support inventory, general housekeeping, and help customers when necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documents.
  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to perform very heavy work – routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime.
