About The Position

Radius Aerospace- Hot Springs is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. This is an entry-level position where training will be provided. The role involves working with sheet metal to create aircraft parts using a large hydraulic press and various forming techniques. The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy, focused on individual growth and performance. Radius Aerospace is a leading manufacturer for the aviation industry, servicing commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications
Ability to stand for 10 hours a day
Ability to work in a hot and cold environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Operate machine controls to stretch aluminum sheets over molds or use chemical processes to make parts for aircraft.
Use a 15-ton crane.
Wash parts with a pressure washer.
Read work orders.
Drive a forklift.
Handle aluminum sheets with extreme caution to avoid scratches and gouges.
Work as a team of 2 or more employees.
Hand routing parts using customer furnished tooling.
Report to work on time.
Follow instructions from supervisor or management.
Interact well with co-workers.
Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Maintain good regular attendance.
Perform other various duties as needed or assigned.
