About The Position

The employee’s responsibilities include: Set up, tear down and operation of machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. This role involves operating beverage manufacturing machinery and performing necessary pre/post operational activities to ensure proper equipment startup. The employee must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude and be willing to work in all areas of production. Required to assist in set up and clean up responsibilities. The employee must ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently, maintain a clean and safe work area, and observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management. The employee must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends, and work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals. The employee must operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care. This role also involves assisting management with procedures to ensure quality product while seeking cost cutting ideas, practicing HAACP and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times, and working alongside other individuals on the line as a team. The employee must report any machinery issues to management.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force repeatedly; exert up to 40 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
  • Must be able to be on feet (standing and walking) for 8 -10 hours a day.
  • Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Must have the ability to use logical thinking or solve problems.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Warehouse experience would be helpful.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work to completion of job.
