Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a process manufacturing environment
  • Forklift or industrial truck certification
  • Basic math proficiency and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, inventory control, and SAP
  • Ability to push/pull 400 lb drums and lift 100 lb bags
  • Comfort working with equipment data and basic Excel usage
  • Ability to work unsupervised, especially during off-shifts
  • Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and audit readiness

Nice To Haves

  • Prior SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience handling food-type products or flavor ingredients
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare flavor batches in the Spray Dry department using detailed shop floor papers
  • Read, collect, and analyze process and analytical data from spray dryers and related equipment
  • Utilize analytical lab tools such as particle size analyzers, pH meters, and Ro‑Tap equipment
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and backflushing of materials to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Operate electric and gas sit‑down forklifts and electric reach trucks as required
  • Compare ZFIS information to verify correct product packaging against customer orders
  • Maintain sanitation and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Participate in cross‑training programs to support operational flexibility
  • Work independently during off‑shifts and respond to unexpected situations
