About The Position

Bulk & Liquid Production Operators are responsible for manufacturing liquid products, loading and unloading bulk and liquid materials into tanker trailers, dry bulk trailers, totes, pails, and drums while operating production and material‑handling equipment, performing sanitation activities, completing required documentation, and complying with all safety, food safety, and quality standards. This is an entry-level operator position that performs routine production, loading/unloading, sanitation, and documentation tasks with some supervision, escalating non-routine issues.

  • Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and operational demands
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills

  • Manufacturing, bulk, or liquid processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Unload raw materials from railcars or trailers, including climbing to verify seal accuracy
  • Perform trailer pre-load inspections
  • Perform liquid and bulk trailer wash/sanitation procedures using hot water systems
  • Load finished product including dry sugar and sucrose into liquid and dry bulk trailers
  • Load totes, pails, and drums
  • Perform sucrose batching and analytical testing of sucrose
  • Learn emergency procedures, E-stop locations, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) awareness
  • Understand and follow assigned production schedules
  • Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment once trained and authorized as needed
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment
  • Perform basic troubleshooting; report equipment or process issues to supervision
  • Use basic hand tools and equipment safely after training
  • Complete production filter changes as assigned
  • Accurately complete required production, quality, and food safety documentation; enter data in company systems (e.g., Beyond Trucks, Sage, Access)
  • Immediately report equipment damage, safety hazards, spills, incidents, or injuries
  • Follow all safety rules, food safety programs, GMPs, and sanitation requirements; use required PPE at all times in manufacturing areas
  • Maintain a positive, professional, team-oriented approach and work effectively with others to support production needs
  • Follow assigned work and break schedules
  • Safely operate and navigate trailers into loading bays using tractor-trailers or terminal tractors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
