About The Position

We’re looking for a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll support the disassembly, repair, assembly, and restoration of gas turbine engine components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. You'll work with a variety of tools, equipment, and repair processes to help return critical aerospace components to service. At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used across the global aviation industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License
  • Experience as a gas turbine engine mechanic, repair technician, or related manufacturing role
  • Aerospace, aviation, MRO, or precision manufacturing experience
  • Experience with brazing, blasting, deburring, or component repair processes
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measurement techniques

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of gas turbine engine components and assemblies
  • Repair and fabricate engine parts and tooling using sanding, blasting, deburring, brazing, and other manufacturing processes
  • Replace worn or damaged components using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and gauges
  • Inspect parts throughout the repair process to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve component and assembly discrepancies
  • Verify tooling and measuring equipment are properly calibrated prior to use
  • Complete production and quality documentation as required
  • Support production projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all company quality, safety, environmental, and ethical standards
