Production Operator (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Charter Manufacturing is seeking a Production Operator for their 81st Street facility, specifically in the Sort and Pack Department. This role involves running multiple high-powered machines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment. The facility produces parts for global customers with a strong focus on quality. There are multiple production areas with advancement opportunities. The Stamping Department Operators run up to four stamping machines to produce specialized parts meeting customer quality requirements. This involves working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail for quality, performing inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be able to meet the minimum physical requirements of the job, with or without accommodation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
Responsibilities
- Run multiple high-powered machines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment.
- Operate up to four stamping machines to ensure specialized parts meet customers’ quality requirements.
- Perform inspections.
- Perform basic troubleshooting.
