About The Position

At Mate Precision Technologies, we Respect, Support, and Inspire our employees and customers—and we’re looking for a dependable, motivated Production Operator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to build skills across multiple manufacturing processes in a clean, team-oriented environment. As a Production Operator, you’ll support a variety of manufacturing operations that may include saw operations, sandblasting and black oxide treatment, or urethane production. Each operator becomes a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one primary area while also cross-training to support at least one additional process area.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read work instructions, SDS sheets, and equipment manuals
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Dependable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods, including safety glasses, and protective footwear

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) to two (2) years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Factivity

Responsibilities

  • Operating multiple saws, cutting and preparing raw materials
  • Monitoring production schedules
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Performing sandblasting and chemical treatment processes
  • Operating ovens and manual machines
  • Mixing and pouring urethane materials
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Operating equipment such as drill presses, punch presses, EDM hole-popping machines, arbor presses, and material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Performing basic machine setup and troubleshooting
  • Participating in continuous improvement efforts such as 5S and Kaizen
  • Working closely with team members to meet productivity and delivery goals
