About The Position

EMS, Thin Metal Parts is seeking a dedicated and skilled efab operator to join our dynamic team. This position requires a keen attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prepare and process electroplating equipment to produce parts for customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrable basic PC skills.
• Able to read blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to follow run sheets and enter data where applicable.
• Ability to multi-task (work in different areas of building on different products simultaneously)
• Fluent in English, written and verbal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with chemicals and knowledge of safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning and plating processes.
• Process parts through the appropriate chemical baths, following run sheets.
• Perform chemical additions as specified by lab.
• Use a micrometer to measure parts, perform calculations and adjust process parameters.
• In-process inspection of parts using naked eye and magnification.
• Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming/photo areas.
• General maintenance of equipment and housecleaning of all areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
