About The Position

The production operator fills bags with fiberglass. This role involves varied duties including lifting, using basic tools, and material handling. The operator will continuously monitor machine operation and material flow to ensure productivity and quality. Responsibilities also include moving totes, stocking bags, and emptying trash as needed. This position is with Owens Corning Glass Reinforcements, which is in the process of being acquired by the Praana Group, with the deal expected to close in early 2026. The business operates in over 20 locations globally.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions relating to safety, quality, and production
• PPE is required – safety toe shoes or boots (safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided)
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work environment including work area and equipment
• Must be able to stand in one area for extended periods of time, performing repetitive tasks
• Must be able to perform basic math skills
• Read, write, and comprehend English
• Must be able to work independently and as a team
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to work scheduled shift based on production needs determined by the site leader

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is preferred
